First week of engineering freshman design lab, we as a group chose to work on making an exercise heart rate monitor device. We will be using a pulse sensor to find a user's heart rate. The sensor will be connected to an Arduino board, which will be connected to a computer. The Arduino board will be programmed in most likely Java, using the software the Arduino site has. We finished our design proposal, but there will most likely still be changes to our current design of the exercise heart rate monitor over the next ten weeks.
